This canyon, created eons ago through volcanic eruption is located about 32 miles from Taos and interestingly, about 35 miles from the massive canyon cut through the valley northwest of Taos by the Rio Grande River. The elevation in Red River varies from approximately 8,600 - 9,000. We are staying at the WorldMark Red River, owned by Wyndham.
